Raphael has a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance. From 1978 through 2000, Raphael served in a senior executive capacity with such luminary Canadian firms as Intrawest and Trilogy Development Corp. where he was responsible for the development of many retail, residential and resort properties.

Raphael has been a Sandpoint resident for the past eleven years. Prior to that, he lived in Calgary, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia for almost thirty years. Raphael is the President-elect of the Selkirk Association of Realtors, and he is active in his community, where he has coached numerous youth sports teams. He is also an avid golfer, skier, and fly fisherman. Raphael has extensive experience in commercial properties, and large acreage developments, in addition to a residential background.
