Born in Portland Oregon, my parents moved us to Sandpoint when I was in the first grade. After growing up here, I traveled to and worked in other resort communities. I worked as a divemaster on a dive boat on Santa Catalina Island CA. I soon acquired enough sea time to get my USGC Captains License. I then started driving boats for a living. In 1997, during my Coast Guard exam studies, I met my wife, Lara. In 1998 we moved to Manhattan Beach CA, married in 1999, and had our first child, Morgan (girl) in 2001. Shortly afterwards, our priorities changed and we shifted gears from city living to more manageable, and far better quality of life. Lara, Morgan and I moved back to Sandpoint in the spring of 2002. We have a second child, Thomas. We are looking forward to raising our family here with hope that they will appreciate this wonderful place as much as we do. With unlimited recreational opportunities, beautiful mountain ranges, pristine lakes and rivers, along with an abundance of wildlife, plus a wonderful community; I m convinced that Sandpoint truly does have it all!
